Do you watch prime time hit The Big Bang Theory from American television? If so, this would be the perfect LEGO® version of the set for you.

Originally this was a fan-submitted model submitted to the LEGO® Ideas website. The set was originally created by two fan designers, Ellen Kooijman from Sweden and Glen Bricker from the USA. In order for this set to be evaluated by the LEGO® group for production, it needed 10,000 fan votes online first.

The level of detail in this model is great! It is very densely populated with authentic miniature details from the show. In the background, you can see a rocket model, Green Lantern’s lantern, the world globe, action figures, a plasma globe, a death star model, a whiteboard with dry-erase markers, a buildable telescope, a film producer’s chair, Chinese takeaway, a newspaper, the famous couch where Sheldon has to have his ‘spot’, a patterned rug, coffee table and lamp.

The set contains all seven main characters of the hit sitcom: Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, Raj, Amy and Bernadette. They all come with accompanying accesories. Some of these minifigures have alternate faces to swap between. Penny has a fantastic and unique pink printed leg pattern never seen before in any set that we can think of!

It’s a great set to build and display on your desk or to interact with each other, just like on the tv show!
