LEGO® has produced a highly detailed replica of the CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC tractor and added it to the ultimate range of LEGO® Technic building kits available. This tractor has on-board some of the most advanced technology used by farmers today.

The tractor is presented in it’s trademarked green, red and gray colour palette accompanied with many vivid and bright coloured stickers. Lift up the hood to reveal the hidden Power Functions underneath.  The kit comes to life with a “hand of God” style 4-wheel steering, front axle steering, crab-style steering depending on the mode selected.

Once you turn on the Power Functions, on the side of the vehicle, you can raise and then rotate the cabin position around 180 degrees depending on how you would like to use the tractor. Once you turn on the motor, it drives a shaft that allows connection both at the front and rear in case you need to attach any attachments (which can be connected at different elevations by manually adjusting the height). These attachments are modular so you can get creative and even create your own attachments!

The knuckle-boom style attachment comes with outriggers to plant the attachment firmly onto the ground before you commence work. It comes with several manual features and two motorised features such as rotating the grabber around or elevating the boom and grabber up high.

Like with many other branded Technic sets, this is a 2-in-1 Technic reproduction which also rebuilds into the CLAAS XERION 5000 TRAC VC with Silage Plow.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE LEGO ENTHUSIAST

There are some new pieces which come with this set, such as the 4 tires which are larger, wider with the tractor style tread, 4 new steering wheel hub holders with 2 pin holes and 2 axle holes, a yellow 11 length axle.

Some pieces that do already exist but are new colours for in this set are the Medium Racing Hubs which come in bright red, 6x6 red inverted dish, lime green panels and 16L soft axle to name just a few.
