After the very impressive ships from the previous LEGO Pirates of the Carribbean series such as the Black Pearl and Queen Anne’s Revenge comes the next great ship, the Silent Mary, along with the next instalment of this Disney movie franchise.

The Silent Mary ghost ship is an extremely detailed replica featuring more than 2200 bricks. To give it the feel of a ghost ship, we start off with a skeleton hull, exposing the ribs of the ship along with a fallen main mast and crows nest, tattered sails flying in the wind and a formidable array of cannons sticking out the side of the ship ready to shoot cannonballs at the enemy and sink ships.

In case you need to make a quick escape, the ship comes with a rowboat and two oars or if you wish to fight, a large assortment of weapons and accessories.

Building the Silent Mary is a little different from the normal experience you would get from building a Lego City set. The non-linear approach to building this wonderful ghost ship means that there is also a stand included to make sure the ship stays upright after you’ve built it. You could display the finished set on your fireplace after you’re done.

Like any great set, it comes with a good assortment of minifigures including of course, Captain Jack Sparrow and 7 others including; Henry, Carina, Lieutenant Lesaro, Captain Salazar, Officer Magda, Officer Santos, the Silent Mary Masthead and two unique ghost sharks that look very hungry because all the food they eat keeps falling out of their rib cages!
