The boxed set originally comes with a pamphlet shows you different layouts that you can build with your existing train set using the 60051 High-Speed Train and the 60052 Cargo Train set. This ideas pamphlet may or may not be included in future sets of the Flexible Track set.
The tracks included are eight straight tracks and 16 flexible tracks. The flexible track can be used to create full curved tracks or straightened up to make more straight track.
Why is flex track useful? Sometimes when you are finishing off the last bits of a track and trying to connect the 2nd last track piece with your very first track piece, you may find a standard piece is too long. The flex track allows you to decrement the size of the track needed to bridge and finish off the layout.

- How many flexible pieces make one straight track? 4 flex pieces are equal to one standard straight track.
- Do the flex elements make a slightly different sound when the train goes over? Yes, they do.
- Do these tracks conduct electricity? No, these tracks are purely plastic and so are not compatible with your older style LEGO® 9v trains.
- Can we buy only straight or only curved tracks on their own? No, currently the manufacturer does not make these tracks separately.
- What LEGO® train sets are compatible with this set? Some of the train set numbers this pack is compatible are: 60197, 60198, 60051, 60052, 10219, 60098, 10194, 10233, 60050, 7936, 7937, 7938, 7939, 7895, 7897, 7898, 7996, 7997. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list. There may also be more sets that are compatible with this track that we have not mentioned here.
